Welcome Singles!

Thank you for visiting the Singles Ministry Home Page of First United Methodist Church of Plano!  If you have never married, are separated, divorced, or widowed you will find a place in our Singles Ministry.  We have two Singles Sunday school classes from which you can choose.  First Church Singles meets upstairs in room 229 at 9:45 and Singles and Friends meets downstairs in room 117 at 9:45.  Both classes have a variety of programs and meet socially for lunch after church.  There is a table in the Gathering Area, which has information about both classes including a social calendar, roster of members, and upcoming events.  We have Worship Services in the Sanctuary at 8:30, 9:45, and 11:00 and a Contemporary Worship Service at 11:00 in the Chapel.  Please come and join us.

Our Mission Statement

At First United Methodist Church of Plano we recognize the value of singleness.  The special needs of the single person in our society are an important part of the ministry of our church.  At First Church you will find loving support from other singles in our program and we can provide an opportunity for you to utilize your gifts and skills in service through one of our many mission opportunities.
